Maths Tuition Pricing.

My hourly rate is £180 — the same for all subjects and levels. There are cheaper tutors. Many treat it as a second income — a university student picking up extra hours, a teacher fitting in sessions after school. What I do is different.

Since graduating I have been a full-time maths tutor. Not alongside another job — this is my career. For over a decade I've dedicated myself to one question: what's the most effective way to maximise students' grades in A-Level and GCSE Maths? That focus, and the results it produces, are what my clients are paying for.

Alongside private tuition, I've built AITutor — a platform used by thousands of students and schools to improve their A-Level and GCSE results. My YouTube channel covers the hardest questions on the syllabus. Every insight from that work feeds directly into the lessons.

What's included

It's not just the hour.

There's more to it than the hour. Every student gets a personalised revision plan built around their exam date and current level. Between sessions I set homework and stay available for questions and advice over WhatsApp — so progress doesn't stop when the lesson does.

I also offer small group tuition at £40 per student per hour — same tutor, same standard. Find out more →

FAQ

Common questions.

Yes. £180 per hour applies to all subjects and levels — GCSE, A-Level, Further Maths, entrance exams, and numerical reasoning tests.
No contracts, no minimum commitment. You can stop at any time. Most students have regular weekly lessons, but there's no obligation to continue.
Lessons are invoiced monthly and payment is by bank transfer. For the first lesson I require payment beforehand, and afterwards you'll receive an invoice at the end of each month.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are charged at the full lesson rate. With 24+ hours' notice, there's no charge.
